a day in the life of C02VF4SSHV2L My computer is aware of its location but knows nothing about its daily life or material surroundings. This work revolves around a computer’s relationship with a young woman who undertakes to communicate the aspects it otherwise can’t perceive through journal entries, that span 24 hours of their life together. The journal is transcribed through programming for it is the closest medium to the computer’s primal language. The journal’s content defines the capacity the computer has to choose coordinates that convey its perception, which it then portrays with line drawings. Concrete sculptures are made based on the computer's drawings. Through its relationship with the young woman, the computer can have a real material impact on its surroundings. The material world is digitalized just as the computer is humanized.
